Who is tired of "we wrote this album during a pandemic" stories? Yeah, us too, so we'll keep it brief.

One More Try is a rewrite of sorts. We've been playing these tunes for a couple years and took an earlier stab at recording them, too. That album never materialized, which is just as well. In early 2020, we began playing music with Nicki and she kinda turned our sound around. We're still dad rockin' to the best of our abilities and with the addition of some mom vocals, I believe we sound like a proper band. Maybe a bit poppier. Maybe a little more country. More mom 'n' pop? I dunno...

This is our first self-produced and engineered material. While we certainly ran into some bumps and snags along the way, we're pleased with the result and our buddy Dan Greenfield helped out with a final sheen. Some songs you might recognize from live shows, some are new, some have been reconfigured, we've got a Whitten/Young favorite from Tonight's the Night, and we had to include a Prine cover after we lost the genius in April. We hope he found paradise.

Please enjoy this freshly cannibalized and reworked set of tunes, and we'll see you from the stage as soon as possible. - Nate
